FeedFilter does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.

Data Collection

FeedFilter collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No browsing history is recorded
• No LinkedIn content is transmitted anywhere
• No analytics or tracking scripts are used
• No cookies are set
• No network requests are made by the extension

How It Works

All text analysis is performed entirely within your browser using local pattern matching. The extension reads the text content of LinkedIn feed posts on the current page, analyzes it using built-in heuristics, and displays visual badges or hides posts accordingly. No data ever leaves your device.

Permissions

The extension requests the following permissions:

• storage — to save your settings (sensitivity level, mode preference) locally in your browser.
• activeTab — to detect whether the current tab is on LinkedIn.
• Host permission (linkedin.com) — to run the content script that scans your feed.

Third Parties

FeedFilter does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party service.

Changes

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
